Original pine Railing from 1960's had better days, prior owners replaced newel post with ceiling to floor 1x4" pine boxes as all support to the post had obviously been compromised.

New Oak post are fasted below floor grade to insure rigid installation for many years to come. All oak newels are fastened below sub flooring and are installed with manufacturers attachment brackets and milled decorative trim caps.

with German Ogee edge routed in. |
White balusters measure 1 /8" square stock pre-primed and are finished atfer installation. All balusters to living room floor are locked into the flooring plate with peg knuckle.
Finishes are white satin low luster for the balusters and all oak is three part finished with light oak stain and two coat poly film build by
minwax.
