This room was totally gutted to the frame. Older victorian home had visible plumbling lines against the walls, The floor sloped 2" downward which was also corrected. Click the photo to enlarge and view the custom detail trim at the double window where there was originally none.

This victorian style kitchen is very unique as the room measures 10 x 15' with 4 door openings.
To make this design work we eliminated the entry closet to recess the refrigerator which projected into the already tight room. 42" wall cabinets were placed with a simulated raised tin back splash. The lower right base cabinets near the dishwasher were actually wall cabinet that were modified on site and used as base cabinets (just below the roll of paper towels). This was different in design and neccssary to create a return to the door opening and simutaneously not interfear with the dishwasher were originally there was none.
Crown mold at the top was added for a more stylish design. All counter top are composite construction. So with a little thought and design this owner now has 4 times the amount of cabinet space with an entirely new kitchen from snap fit laminate flooring to drywall and paint throughout.
